June 6 TVT Challenge 10.2 mile hike at Germantown MetroPark

Description
Join us for our 1st hike at the Twin Valley Trail Challenge on National Trails Day. This event is hosted by Five Rivers MetroParks and is a variable mile hike from 1 to 28 miles. We are looking to hike the 10 mile portion inside Germantown MetroPark. We will take 1 hiker in a Rosie. Everyone should bring their own snacks and water. There are a couple of aid stations and porta potties along the route.
This will start at 9:00 am and go till between 1:00 and 2:00pm depending on pace.
A caregive will need to be with the hiker during the hike.
10-Mile: (10.2 miles) This route follows the TVT in Germantown MetroPark. Head north on the green trail from the Welcome Center up to the prairie. Continue following the TVT along the pink and orange trails. When you get to the Spillway, turn right and head across the dam following the TVT back to the Welcome Center.
